Are all your tracks at the same sample rate?

If you supply mixed sample rates, we'll up-sample any lower rate tracks to the highest rate supplied. This way we'll be able to supply your Album or EP at a consistent sample rate without any loss of quality.

If you'd prefer the tracks to be mastered at a different sample rate than the highest provided, please let us know in the notes.

? What's a sample rate

The sample rate of your recording is a measure of how many times per second the signal level is represented by an absolute digital value. This affects the overall frequency response and can have an effect on perceived quality.

The sample rate for Compact Disc is 44.1kHz, whereas rates of 48kHz and 96kHz are now very common. Whilst it's generally advisable to maintain the same sample rate throughout the recording process and delivery, it is easy to accidentally change the rate during export in many DAWs.

We recommend exporting mixes at the same sample rate your DAW is working at. If mixed sample rates are supplied, we'll up-sample lower rate tracks to the highest supplied rate so the project can be delivered consistently without loss of quality.

ISRC: Would you like us to embed ISRC into your masters?

What are ISRC codes? ?

International Standard Recording Codes are a way of identifying your recordings, particularly for royalty collection.

It is standard practice to embed ISRC into DDPi (CD) Masters, and record labels often prefer WAV masters to have ISRC embedded too, for identification and archiving purposes.

Please also feel free to include any notes about the mastering, details about how you want the gaps or if you just want sequencing and gaps left to the engineer's discretion for example.

Please drag and drop or hit the select files button to upload your tracks. For mastering sources, WAV or AIF files at 24 bit or 32 bit-float are preferred. Data-compressed sources such as MP3 or AAC (M4A) should only be used as an absolute last resort (other than for reference). Please ensure each file uploads correctly (a red x will appear to the left of each track). Each individual upload must not exceed 1024MB (1GB). You can also upload reference material here (such as louder mix references that your mix engineer may have provided to you for approval) but if you do so, please use the notes dialogue above to tell us which tracks are for mastering and which are for reference, or add REFERENCE_ONLY to the file-name. If you have trouble using this please send them via email using wetransfer.com or any suitable online file transfer service. Make sure you quote your name if you do so.
